Important: These Terms and Conditions govern your service relationship with Clean Paws Katy LLC. By completing online signup or signing a service agreement, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to all terms below. Questions? Text or call us at (281) 829-8914 before signing up.

Parties to This Agreement

This Service Agreement is between Clean Paws Katy LLC, a Texas limited liability company located in Katy, TX ("Company", "we", "us"), and the individual completing signup and receiving services at the specified address ("Customer", "you").

Services Provided

Clean Paws Katy provides residential pet waste removal services. The service plan selected at signup governs frequency and pricing. Available services include:

  • Weekly Service: One visit per week on your assigned day to remove all dog waste from your yard.
  • Bi-Weekly Service: One visit every two weeks on your assigned service day.
  • One-Time Cleanup: A single visit with no recurring commitment.
  • Commercial Service: Custom plans for HOAs, apartment complexes, and commercial properties β€” governed by a separate commercial agreement.

Every visit includes: complete yard scooping, equipment sanitization between properties, photo confirmation of clean yard and secured gate sent via text, and an arrival notification text prior to visit.

Service Area

We currently service the greater Katy, Texas region including:

  • Katy, TX (ZIP codes: 77449, 77450, 77491, 77492, 77493, 77494)
  • Cinco Ranch, Seven Meadows, Grand Lakes
  • and surrounding communities

We reserve the right to determine whether a specific address falls within our serviceable area. If your address is outside our current service area, you will be notified prior to your first scheduled visit and will not be charged.

Scheduling & Service Days

Upon signup, you will be assigned a recurring service day Monday through Friday. You acknowledge and agree to the following:

  • Service days may occasionally shift by one business day due to holidays, weather, or route changes. You will be notified of any changes via text message.
  • We do not guarantee a specific time of day for service. Most visits occur between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM on your assigned day.
  • You will receive a text notification prior to your technician's arrival.
  • A photo of your clean yard and secured gate will be texted to you upon completion of each visit.
  • You are responsible for ensuring yard access is available on your service day. If the yard is inaccessible due to a locked gate without a provided code, loose or aggressive animals, or other Customer-caused obstruction, the visit will be skipped and you will be charged for that visit.

Weather & Service Interruptions

Technician safety is our priority. We reserve the right to suspend service without penalty under the following conditions:

  • Tropical storms, hurricanes, or tropical storm watches/warnings issued for the Katy/Houston area
  • Flash flood warnings or active flooding in the service area
  • Extreme heat advisories where conditions pose a health risk (heat index above 115Β°F)
  • Any weather event that, in our sole judgment, makes service unsafe

In the event of a weather-related suspension, we will notify all affected customers via text as soon as reasonably possible and make every effort to reschedule within 5 business days. A credit will be applied if a makeup visit cannot be completed within 7 days. Routine rain and mild weather conditions will not suspend service.

Billing & Payment

You agree to the following billing terms:

  • Billing Cycle: Services are billed monthly, in advance. Your payment method will be charged on the 1st of each month for all services scheduled that month.
  • First Visit: For new customers, the first cleanup is free with signup for recurring weekly service. Billing begins on the 1st of the first full billing month.
  • Payment Method: A valid credit card, debit card, or ACH bank account must be on file at signup. Services will not begin until payment is confirmed.
  • Failed Payments: If payment fails, we will notify you. If not resolved within 5 business days, service will be suspended until the balance is paid in full.
  • Late Fees: Accounts unpaid for more than 14 days may be assessed a $10.00 late fee.
  • Price Changes: We reserve the right to adjust pricing with 30 days written notice. Continued use of service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of new pricing.
  • No Refunds for Completed Services: Once a service visit has been performed, no refunds will be issued. Quality concerns must be reported within 24 hours and will be resolved through a complimentary re-service visit.

Cancellation Policy

Clean Paws Katy operates with NO CONTRACTS and NO CANCELLATION FEES. You may cancel your recurring service at any time.

  • Cancellations received at least 7 days before the next billing date take effect at the end of the current billing period with no additional charges.
  • Cancellations received fewer than 7 days before the next billing date may result in a charge for the following month. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate late requests.
  • To cancel, text or email hello@cleanpawskaty.com with your name, address, and cancellation request. We will confirm receipt within 1 business day.
  • You may pause service for up to 60 days without canceling. Pause requests must be submitted at least 7 days before the next billing date.
  • We reserve the right to cancel service to any customer at any time with 7 days written notice. Prepaid amounts for unperformed services will be refunded.

Pet Safety & Property Access

You acknowledge that our technicians will be entering your private property and agree to the following:

  • All pets must be secured indoors or in a separate area of the yard away from the technician during service. We are not responsible for any pet that escapes, injures itself, or causes injury to a technician during a visit.
  • You must disclose all dogs and other animals on the property at signup, including any animal with a history of aggression. Failure to disclose aggressive animals is a material breach of this Agreement.
  • If a technician determines an animal poses a safety risk, they may leave without completing the visit. You will be charged for the visit and notified to secure the animal for future visits.
  • You are responsible for providing gate access codes or other access information necessary to enter the yard. This information will be kept strictly confidential.
  • Our technician will close and secure all gates upon leaving. We are not responsible for gate or fence failures resulting from pre-existing damage, wear, or structural deficiency.
  • You grant us permission to enter your yard on scheduled service days without prior announcement beyond the standard arrival notification text.

Liability & Indemnification

Clean Paws Katy maintains general liability insurance and takes reasonable precautions to protect your property. You agree to the following:

  • We are not liable for property damage resulting from pre-existing conditions including damaged fencing, broken gates, unstable landscaping, or other hazardous yard conditions.
  • We are not liable for injury to or loss of pets resulting from pre-existing medical conditions, existing escape routes in fencing, or aggressive behavior by the pet.
  • Our total liability for any claim under this Agreement shall not exceed the amount you paid for services in the 30 days preceding the claim.
  • You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Clean Paws Katy LLC, its owners, employees, and agents from any claims arising from: (a) inaccurate information provided by you, (b) failure to disclose aggressive animals, (c) pre-existing property conditions, or (d) your breach of this Agreement.
  • Proof of general liability insurance is available upon written request.

Satisfaction Guarantee

We stand behind every visit with a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If you are not satisfied with any visit, we will return within 48 hours to re-service your yard at no additional charge.

To invoke the guarantee, report your concern via text or email within 24 hours of the completed visit, describe the specific issue, and allow us to return within 48 hours. If we cannot complete a re-service within 48 hours, a credit will be applied to your next billing cycle. The guarantee applies to service quality and does not entitle you to a monetary refund for a completed visit.

Photo Documentation Policy

Our technicians photograph your clean yard and secured gate after every visit. This photo is sent to you via text as proof of service completion. By agreeing to these Terms, you:

  • Consent to photos being taken of your yard and gate on each service visit
  • Acknowledge that photos are taken solely for service documentation purposes
  • Agree that we may use anonymized or non-identifying photos for marketing purposes (such as before/after photos). No identifying information including addresses or home exteriors will be shared without your separate written consent.

Referral Program

Clean Paws Katy offers a referral reward of one free week of service for both the referring customer and the new customer. Referral rewards have no cash value, are non-transferable, and are subject to change or discontinuation at any time with reasonable notice.

Communication & Notifications

  • We communicate primarily via text message to the phone number provided at signup. You are responsible for keeping your contact information current.
  • Service notifications, billing notices, schedule changes, and account updates will be sent via text and/or email.
  • You consent to receive service-related text messages from Clean Paws Katy. Standard messaging rates may apply.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Disputes will be resolved as follows:

  • First, the parties will attempt informal resolution by contacting us directly at hello@cleanpawskaty.com or (281) 829-8914.
  • If informal resolution fails, the parties agree to mediation in Fort Bend County or Harris County, Texas before initiating legal proceedings.
  • Any legal action shall be filed exclusively in state or federal courts in Fort Bend County or Harris County, Texas.
  • The prevailing party in any legal action shall be entitled to recover reasonable attorney's fees and costs.

Modifications to This Agreement

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. You will be notified of material changes via text or email at least 30 days prior to the effective date. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. The most current version of these Terms is always available at cleanpawskaty.com/terms.

Entire Agreement

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties regarding the subject matter hereof and supersedes all prior discussions or agreements, whether oral or written. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.

By signing below, I confirm that I have read, understood, and agree to all Terms and Conditions set forth in this Agreement. I understand that this Agreement governs my service relationship with Clean Paws Katy LLC.

Our technicians photograph your clean yard and secured gate after every service visit. These photos are:

  • Reviewed internally if a service quality dispute arises

We may use anonymized before/after photos for marketing β€” no identifying information such as house numbers, street signs, or recognizable home features will be included without your separate written consent. To opt out of marketing photo use, email hello@cleanpawskaty.com.
